Wedding: Doug & Michelle (Day 2)

Doug and Michelle wanted to have a two-day wedding, honoring their respective family's traditions. Their second day held a Western-style ceremony where they opened with a dance they worked hard on, earning them scores of 10 by the judges.

Event: OCAP & i2y.com Charity Fundraiser

Celebrating Orange County Asian Professionals' (OCAP) first anniversary, and fundraising for the "I'm Too Young For This!" Cancer Foundation (i2y.com), provided an opportunity for some charitable services. Three hundred dollars were raised, and one of the prizes included a full, three-hour portrait session package with yuenStudios at no cost to the winner.

Event: Long Beach Half-Marathon

Thirteen miles seems like a lot of running, and for many, the idea of jogging such a distance just seems absurd! That day came for my brother and four friends at the Long Beach Half-Marathon where they ran their first 13.1 miles!

A challenge they conquered, the exhilaration they felt after crossing the finish line with exhaustion, and a jubilant, "I DID IT!" screaming from within... I salute all of us who completed our runs, including two friends for their first 26.2-mile full-marathon! Thank you to our friends who came to support us!

While recently snowboarding, a friend sighed that she cannot take good pictures and wished for an expensive SLR camera. Contrary to popular belief, today's inexpensive cameras can actually accomplish quite a lot. The photos below were shot with a $170 Canon PowerShot SD700 IS.
